Social Development Department Minister Sisisi Tolashe has pledged her guidance and determination to strengthening South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) services throughout an engagement along with the company's senior supervisors at a strategic organizing session in Cape Town.

Tolashe on Tuesday expressed her heartfelt congratulations to the numerous social grant beneficiaries, who excelled within the 2024 matric exams.

Of the 724 156 full-time learners who registered with the National Senior Certification (NSC), 572 338 are social grant beneficiaries, representing 81% of the registered pupils in the instruction sector.

These learners realized a commendable pass rate of 86%.
